My grandmother came to Canada (Ontario) with her mother Isabelle Cassells in 1913. Isabelle was the widow of James. They were from Belfast and Isabelles came here with all her children but one who could not pass immigration standards. My gmother, Nellie Cassells married Ernest Archer Cathcart. There's a spelling variation here but it's a possible connection.
