Nancy,
Some time ago you were looking for info on the family of William Cassell and
Elizabeth Leidig of Dauphin Co., PA.

I have a Henry Cassel, born about 1822 (your date: 1826), who came from PA
and was of the Dauphin Co. family. He was killed in the battle of Vicksburg
in 1863; was married to a Catharine Bretz, who was a Cassel descendant
herself.

We have never known the names of Henry's parents. Could there be a
connection? My Henry was living in Iowa at the time of his enlistment. (He
also seems to have been connected with the Greybill/Kreibel family of PA.)

Thanks for your time.
Kristin Yates
