I am looking for the parents of a Jane Cassidy Farris. She was born in 1818 in Tennessee and moved at some point to Saline County/Howard County/Cooper County Missouri. She married James K. Farris/Faris. She died in 1870. There is another Jane C. Farris, born 1818 in Tennessee who shows up in an 1870 census as a widow.
I've looked at the 1830 and 1840 census reports for Tennessee and at the 1840 census for those counties in Missouri. I can't find any Cassidys (yes, I've checked various spellings.)
