I am still looking for info on my Cassidy line. I have located a bit more information on them.
On the 1871 England Census, it has them living in St Helen, Lancashire, England, Civil Parish of Parr, and in the Registration District of Prescot. For the household it lists the following people:
--Patrick Cassidy, 44, Ireland
--Catherine Cassidy, 40, Ireland (last name unknown)
--Ellen Cassidy, 40, Ireland (his sister maybe??)
--Mary Cassidy, 19, America
--James Cassidy, 17, America (my great-grandfather)
--John Cassidy, 12, America
--Patrick Cassidy, 8, America
--John Turner (whoever this is)
Patrick and Catherine were maried in 1853 in Lancashire.
If any of this looks familiar or you have any ideas as to how I can land more info on my family line, please contact me! I have so little on my Dad's side of the family.
