I would like to know any information on any Casselman families that went to Canada during the Revolution and later came back to America. I am researching a family story that James Casselman, born 1832 in Texas, descended from some of these Casselman. We recently have found out that he is the son of John K. Castleman and wife Sarah and the grandson of Patience Casselman.
