Researching the parentage, and heritage of William Casselman.

He married Rachel, maiden name unknown. Rachel was born about 1790 in NY; she died January 11, 1854 in Brady Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.

Their known children: 1) John Henry; 2) VanRensalear, born in NY; 3) Richard, died before 1895; 4) Martha; 5) Mary, born about 1813 in NY, married Sylvanus Casselman; 6) Anna, born June 17, 1819 in Montgomery County, NY and died December 29, 1882 in Grant Township, Clay County, KS. Anna married Reuben Kipp on April 27, 1843 in MI; 7) Timothy, born about 1824; 8) Adam, born about 1828.

This is all the information that I have on William and his family. His daughter, Anna (Casselman) Kipp, is my 2nd gr-grandmother.
