My grandmother was a Casselman from DeKalb County, IN. Her grandfather was Martin Casselman, her grandmother was Rebecca Strow. They had the following children,
William - 1866, Issac - 1869, George - 1874, Martin E. - 1877, Ira L - 1875 and Edward - 1879..
Martin and Rebecca are buried in DeKalb County, IN. But they were born in Ohio, as were both of their parents. My grandmother's father was Martin E. Casselman.
Martin Casselman Sr. name is spelt Castleman on his tombstone, but Rebecca's last name is spelt Casselman as are all their children. Was wondering if you have any info on these people, if you have found anything that links the two families (yours and mine) to Ohio. Oh, all the children were born in Indiana.
Would appreciate any info you have.
