Hi! I am trying to prove or disprove a theory that the maiden name of my gr-gr-gr-gr-grandmother was Cassel. All I have to base my guess on was the first name of her grandson (my gr-gr-grandfather) which was Cassel E. McCoy. I know that she was born in PA in 1778, married Alexander McCoy in PA sometime around 1798 or earlier, moved to Wooster, Wayne Co., OH before 1820, and later to Holmes Co., OH and died in Marshall Co., IN in 1853. Does anyone know of a Martha Cassel born about this time in PA, or has seen mention of a Martha McCoy in a will? Would greatly appreciate any feedback available. Thanks.
