John, thanks for the info re the Memorial Dedication at New Bethel Church and the recognition of Sgt. Ivey Ritchie. I am descended from Ivey's brother, John Ritchie, and John's son Rochel Bruton ('Shack') Ritchie. Unfortunately I now live in Mobile, AL so I will not be able to attend.
I will be happy to share information but I have very little to share so far. I have the names of all of Charles and Margaret Cassel Ritchie's children, but no other information about her except a birthdate, 15 June 1806.
I will keep looking and stay in touch.
