You can search online but it's a little tricky. I will see if I can outline it for you. 1) go to http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp 2) In the form type First name: David, Last name: Cassel, for event choose Birth/Christening Use exact year and then type 1803 3) click search and you should see under the International Genealogical Index your David Choose him and you will see his info 4) Near the bottom of his card you will see a hyperlink for the Batch number click on it and that will bring you to the IGI search card all set up so you can search that film by last names or read all the names by typing nothing else (you must have a region and a batch number or it won't always work) 5)Type in Cassel as a last name and you will see 60 Cassel family members who were chistened at the Zion Church 6) Change the C to M in the Batch number and you will be able to look at 16 Cassel marriages Try different things and remember to make deliberate spelling mistakes sometimes, Some Cassels for instance became Castles. The spellings on the 1880 census which is also available here is full of phonetic mistakes. have fun! Lil Ps. Did you get my other message on Michael? Notify Administrator about this message?
