Since my cousin Gayle Putt posted her questions on this forum I was able to make the connection between the Wunder and Cassatt family and have the Cassatt line traced back to the early 1600s I am now interested in the Stevenson connection to the Cassatt line and the relaionship to Penn Railroad. The first railroad in this country was run by Stevenson in Philadelphia married to Rittenhouse. The Rittenhouse family and Wunder family are also tied together through marriage in Philadelphia. Do you have any information on Robert Stevenson Cassatt, president of Penn Railroad. Who was also the father of Mary Cassatt, American Artist.
