James William Barushok, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus and member of the Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois University, born Feb. 26, 1929, died May 5, 2007. Survived by his wife and best friend, Fern, nee Rosa; loving father of Jean (Marc) Casady, Bob (Fatimah) and Betty (Jon) Hollander; cherished Papa of Jill, Grace, Carrie, Eric, James, Colin and the late Katie. He will be fondly remembered by many family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the General Scholarship Fund of Northeastern Illinois University, 5500 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, IL 60625, attn: Michelle Morrow. Memorial services will be held June 2 at 4 p.m. in the Golden Eagles Room at Northeastern. Parking and entrance in lot F, Building F, between Foster and Bryn Mawr.
