Interesting. However, my great grandfather George Cassady, actually died in Vancouver Canada. He had 4 sons, Jack, Jim, Bill, Mike and 2 daughters, Margeret and Josephine. (there was a rumour he also had two sisters by the same name). He was from somewhere in Michigan, maybe Marlette or Dearborn, he came to Ducklake Saskatchewan.
What information do you have on your grandfather Charles? I think my great grandfather was also born in 1890. I wonder if he could have changed his name at some point, maybe he could have been a brother to your grandfather?
I have no other information on George Cassady brothers, sisters or parents. Other than it was said his father worked on the skyscrapers and died falling from one while at work.
