I am looking for info on a Leland Cass from Calhoun COunty, Alabama. He was born ca 1896 in TN I think. In 1915 he was convicted of killing a cop and sentenced to 1 year in prison. One newspaper article stated that he escaped after 2 months. He was tried along with John Henry Brown. Does anyone know what happened to him? Have any info at all? Please and thank you.
