Portrait of Major Jonathan Cass (1756-1830), New Hampshire

The Spring 2010 issue of ANTIQUES AND FINE ART magazine in an advertisement on p. 3 pictures a portrait of Major Jonathan Cass (1756-1830) of New Hampshire.

This fine portrait should be made known to the Cass family. I am scanning it in case any of the descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the family ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by the family. It may not have extensive genealogy value, but it certainly does have a whole lot of family and historic value.

My email address can be found by clicking on my underlined name above. Please respond by emailing me directly and not by posting a reply on this genforum site, which I might not see.

If it were a portrait of an early Pease family member, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me.

Bill Pease, Lancaster, PA
