Cannon Cason, Jr ( 1754-1843) of Fairfield Co. SC, son of Cannon and Rosa Whitehurst of Beaufort ( Pitt) Co NC, Duplin Co. NC and SC., moved to Randolph Co Ga in his old age where he died testate. He had a grandson named Knighton. They are not closely related to Tamar and Milberry Cason.
