Juan Casillas February 2004
Juan Casillas, 68, of Indio died Feb. 22, 2004, in Indio. He was born Feb. 8, 1936, to Ramon Casillas and Rita Cervantes in Ecuandureo, Michoacan, Mexico. He married Teresa Torres in Marc, 1959, in Michoacan.
He was a carpenter for three years.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Torres of Indio; six daughters, Gloria Casillas of San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico, and Rosario, Maria Guadalupe, Juana, Maria Angeles and Maria del Refugio Casillas, all of Indio; two sisters, Josefina and Maria de la Luz Casillas, both of Michoacan; eight brothers, Julian, David and Sergio Casillas of Chicago, Socorro and Antonio Casillas of Michoacan, Ramon Casillas of Los Angeles, and Jose and Refugio Casillas of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico; his father, Ramon Casillas of Michoacan; and 15 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today with a Rosary at 10 a.m. today at Casillas Family Funeral Home in Coachella. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Coachella Valley Cemetery with Casillas Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
