Sherry, i only have one Joseph in my files born in 1830 NC who was the son of Jabez Cashon who was the son of Thomas and Tabitha Traylor Cashon and it is very possible he was in Georgia. However most of the Cashions in Georgia were descendants of Peter and Jemima Cashion Cashion who were the son of Burrell and daughter of Thomas. These families lived locse and traveled often together. The only other Cashion I know of in Georgia was Elzy Cashion who was in Upton County, Ga and I haven't a trace of his descendants. I would think Joseph W. was probably a descendant of one of the above - do you know where he was born?
