I am a descendant (3rd great-granddaughter) of James And Catherine (Cash, b. June 6, 1803 ) Cobb. Your statement about Catherine being an Indian captive is of interest to me. Her grandson, Henry Bernard Cobb,said his grandmother was married to an Indian, but, from my research, this was not true. Family stories become confused and change over the years. Do you have more information on the Indian situation?
