Cash Genealogy Y DNA Markers?
Hi, all-
I just received my results for a 37-marker Y-DNA test w/ Family Tree DNA, and I'm curious if anyone here has (or knows someone who has) tested his paternal line [Cash] markers?
It seems that the testing service's "Surname Project" website isn't updated all that often, and the DNA results publicly posted there all have an 'earliest known ancestor' whose dates overlap w/ my own documented ancestors, so there's not much to work with data-wise.
My Cash family branch hails from Spartanburg Co., S.C. (with a generation or two interlude in Greene Co., Tenn. apx. 1860-1900), but I haven't been able to connect them to anyone further back than my 3-g grandfather, William Cash (born abt 1833, SC/died Mar 1860, Tenn).
So if any of you guys who have a paper-trail going back further than this one have had your DNA tested for markers, let's please get in touch to share info.!I'd like to see how all the American Cash's fit together, and if we're descended from a common-ancestor.
Thanks for reading, and good luck in your search!
