Hello, This may not be related to your immediate group, but who knows. Some of the earliest references to the Cash family in the new world were listed in Peter Coldham's Emmigrant entries: From “The Complete Book of Emmigrants 1661-1699 ” Edited by Peter Wilson Coldham Year 1684 11 July pg. 465 The following apprenticed in London: William Ovendell, son of William O. of St. Olave, Southwark, Surrey, and John Cash, son of Thomas C. of Jamaica, planter, to Richard Heath, 7 years Maryland(LMWB13/470). I've been told that this Jamaica was a small little island off the coast of Virginia, but I suspect in this instance it is not...that it is the Jamaica in the Bahamas. I believe but have not confirmed, that this group is related to William Cash of Westmoreland Co. VA. A new bit of info seems to tie him to Charles Co. MD in the 1680's. Good luck in your search!
