I am looking for the parents of Mary Elizabeth Cash born 1837 in KY. died July 20, 1898 in Johnson Co., Indiana she was married to Allen C. Carpenter born 1837 Tenn. and died March 1879 Johnson Co., In. He was a Civil War Veteran their children were George, Nancy born 1860;d.1864, Minnie B.1861;she married John L. Cash,b.1863 2nd. Charles E. Carnine, April 10, 1891, Johnson Co., In. I have hear that she was adopted. Any information would be appreciated.
