According to my grandmother Dorothy, Buck Cash's wife, Buck, born 10-25-1907 had brothers:
George, the oldest - a lumberjack killed by a falling tree
Bill, the youngest - killed in Okinawa in WWII
John, I have no additional info - Could this be your John James Cash?
Also sisters:
Virginia, who died young
Maude, I have no additional info
Alice, I have no additional info
another sister my grandmother can not remember her name
According to my grandmother, their father, George Cash was married to Clara (maiden name?), a woman of german lineage
George's mother (my great, great grandmother) was, according to my grandmother, a full blooded indian
My grandfather, Buck Cash was married in MO to a woman named Mabel (maiden name?) mabel died before the great depression, leaving Buck a widower.
They had 2 children,
Fred Cash - who pursued a career in the marine Corps and retired as a Seargent Major.
Marilee, who worked at a chemical plant and died in 1932
I am, of course, trying to piece together everything else, like George's father's name, as well as ANY additional info on the surrounding members of this family.
Anything you can tell me would be great. And if I have any info you are seeking I would be more than happy to provide it. Maybe between our individual searches we can come up with a great deal of info.
