Hi Martin,
I'm trying to resolve some puzzles. And believe that perhaps you can help. For starters, I'm trying to determine how any Wilburn families were related to the Cash family. Following a hunch that someone was named Wilburn Cash, I punched in the name Wilburn and up popped a posting showing a Wilburn Cash b 1893 in Ripley Co MO.
I do know that some Wilburn and Massey families were related and I believe some of these connections go back to Amherst Co VA c Rev War era. But the Massey line is merely one of many possibilities. Wilburn families were living just about everywhere Cash families were living, including Westmoreland Co VA during the late 1600's. And also Gibson and Posey Co IN c 1850.
At any event, if you have any ideas I would love to hear from you. Thanks so very much for your time and your research knowledge. I've enjoyed reading your many postings.
