Wilbur Joseph Cash was christened Joseph Wilbur Cash, but changed his name around so as to not be like his father's initials. W.J. was born in 1900 in Gaffney, SC and committed suicide in Mexico City in 1941.
He was known as the Southern Prophet and wrote "The Mind of the South". I have not been able to make any links to this Cash family - can anyone?
