Our Cashs` were all from Philadelphia, beginning John Cash who indentured his son Jacob to the tobbaconist trade in 1765.
Since they were living in Philadelphia during Franklin`s time, there may be a connection, since we read there were many Cash cousins there at the time.
Ben Franklin`s wife Deborah Read Franklin`s grandmother was a Deborah Cash, married to Abraham Cash from Birmingham , England. Has anyone found a Cash connection here? Haven`t found a Scotland connection either..just stuck. Thank you for any info you might have.
