I don't know where in Ireland my CASEY family is from. I have William Casey, age 50, who came over in 1833 with 5 siblings, but further down the line Patrick John Casey, who was born somewhere in Ireland, served in the MN Home Guard Milita during the Civil War married Ann Sheedy in 1884. Ann was born in County Limerick & emigrated to the US in 1882. I really feel there is some confusion about whether Patrick is really the son of Mark Casey, married to Bridgett Finnegan. This Mark Casey family settled in Dakota County, MN in the 1850's. Does any of this make sense with your line. Thank you. View http://www.cet.com/!bike/genealogy.htm
