My husband is John Frank Casiday. His father told the story that when he moved to MS. their name was changed to one Sand ending with day. I know that this is just a different way of spelling the Irish name. His grandfather's name was Cassada on his marriage license, when he got married in Tallapoosa, Cty. AL, to Missouri J. Weldon, 1865.. His full name was John Jurdain.
