1850 Census (all below are in the same household) White River Twp (around Arnett or Whitehouse, AR) 81-81 William Chandler 38 farmer VA Hetty Chandler 35 KY , and in remarks has an "I" (not a 1) John Chandler 19 (blind) IL Cyrene Chandler 12 AR Clarinda Chandler 9 AR Jeremiah Chandler 4 AR Elizabeth Chandler 1 AR Isabel WHITE 22 IA , "I" Willis White 13 AR Elmyra White 18 IA Nancy White 1 AR 1850 census (all below are in the same household) Prairie Twp. (Fayetteville area) 165-165 Wm. J. Casseday 31 farmer 200 KY, "I" Mary Casseday 31 OH, "I" Anna Casseday 11 AR "S" Martha M. White 8 AR Susannah Regg 18 IL Jeremiah Phelan 73 PA I have a (Jeremiah Cassidy not verified) as the father of Hetty Chandler. Martha M. White m. Samuel Stout. Her parents were James Whyte and Nancy Cassidy. Also I find the father of Willis White to be James Wyatt. Jeremiah Phelan is the father of Mary Casseday. I don't know what the I or S means in the remarks. Would "I" be Indian? I think William J. Casseday is the brother of Hetty Chandler (Cherokee) and Nancy Whyte Cassidy. (This is a guess because of all the White children living with them.) I am researching William J Chandler and Hetty (Cassidy?), my gggrandparents. I have come upon a brick wall. Hoping someone will have reference to these names. Notify Administrator about this message?
