Glenda and Carl - Alvin Felix Cary, wife Gertrude Gossett, and children are listed on page 222A of the 1920 census of Monticello City, Green Co., AR. All the children were born in Arkansas. Their names and calculated birth years, are: Eunice b. 1901; Cassie and Hassie (twins) b. 1903; Felix Wayman b. 1906; Alvin Richard b. 18 Apr 1908 d. Jul. 1957 (from Social Security records); Floyd Leon b. 1912; Modena b. 1914. I haven’t found any of their children’s names yet.
Alvin Felix and I are 7th cousins twice removed descendants of Thomas Cary the Immigrant who patented Cary’s Adventure on Monie Creek in Somerset Co., MD in 1666. I have loads and loads of data on Thomas Cary and his descendants and am trying to collect more. I would greatly appreciate exchanging Cary/Carey family data via e-mail. David Carey (Matawadave@aol.com).
