Looking for descendents of Edmund Carey or Cary, and spouse Mary Finnigan, m. St. Louis Parish, Webster, MA 3/26/1864. Apparently moved from state after 1870 census. I think to CT.
Found Edmund 46, Mary 40, children John 16, Stephen 12, and patrick 8, in 1880 census, Weedham, CT. Ages look good but cannot pick up info on births of children. Patrick has a "hip disease" per census.
Edmund was a fish dealer in 1880, b. Ireland and was an "overseer" in the MA 1870 census.
Mary came to US in 1847 with parents Henry and Bridget Finnigan and sisters Bridget, Margaret, Joanna, and Ellen. I'm related to them. They lived first in Sturbridge, MA then moved to Southbridge, MA.
