1940 work on the Cary Family compiled by Boyd Cary shows Major Thomas Cary born 1647 died 1708 at Windmill Point married to Anne Milner daug of Capt Francis Milner of Nansemond are the parents of Capt Miles Cary Jr born 1671 died 1724 Pear Tree Hall Estate Res Warwock County VA married to Elizabthe Cocke Aug 25, 1695 at St John's Church Richmond VA dau of the Hon. Richard Cocke of Bremo Henrico County VA . Miles is buried at at Pear Tree Hall graveyard

This infomraiton comes from Herald's College 1699. To date Everything I have seen supports this
