Based on the 1850 Spartanburg census, I am fairly certain that Martha Ann Carver was William C. Carver's daughter. All the dates fit very well. Do you have William C.'s wife as a Mary Hammett? I would really like to see what you have in your information.
Martha Ann Carver married John James Caldwell after the Civil War and I have good document from then on.
