Researching ROBERT WILLIAM CARVER (1820-1896) and his wife, SARAH ANN RUSSELL (1825-1900). May be connected to the Pickens Co., AL and the Henderson Co., TX group of Carvers. They are buried in Vernon Parish, LA. Lived for a period of time in Livingston Parish, LA. She is said to have been part Indian, perhaps Cherokee. Had son, Calvin Green, and daughterr, Martha, that lived to adulthood.
