I am just starting out on my Carver line. My great grandmother was Mary Catherine Miller b. Oct 1845 in Hickory Co, Mo. Her parents were John Miller born Dec. 7, 1811 in Ky and Mary Carver b. Dec 25, 1811 in Ky. The Morman records have John Miller dying in Benton Co, Mo or he might have died in Parker Co, Texas. Mary Carver Miller died in Hickory Co, Mo in 1858. Mary or John were Cherokee Indian. I am not sure which one. My ex-husband was a Armstrong. Some of his Armstrong family were from Tenn.
