Hi Laurel,
I am just starting my journey in trying to track down my ancestors. There was a name in your post that caught my attention. Let me explain who I am and where I fit in all this (I think). My great grandmother is Ophelia Carver, daughter of George W. Carver and Josephine Humphreys. George is the son of Albert Carver and Mary Markham. These are the names I saw in your post. I live near the Carver Cemetery in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas (near Mesquite). In the past, this cemetery was taken care of by the Historical Society. I haven't been there since I was a young girl. I would love to communicate with you. Please email me if you are interested.
