Thomas Carver's(1755-1821) mother, Sarah

Has anyone been able to locate a maiden name for Thomas' mother and William Carver's wife, Sarah? I have a GGGrandmother Sarah Nuegent Carver,b.23 June, 1824,TN. She was somehow related to Elizabeth Anglin, daughter of Elizabeth Carver & John Anglin. I have searched for years and have not been able to find Sarah's parents. She possibly was disowned when she married George Madison Kerby in Tx in 1844., who married Elizabeth Anglin Sullivan Davis Wise,after Sarah's death. There was a brother in Tx at the same time, John Carver, he m. George's neice, Elizabeth Kerby. I am trying anything to connect Sarah & John to a family and my only clue is the relationship between Sarah & Elizabeth.
