Elizabeth, Here is a little information.

I'm sure you looked at the 1850 census, and Clement and I assume the other children are his siblings (Malcolm, Warren, Laura, and Mary) are living with Andrew and Hannah Ray. His brother Warren Carver's death certificate states he died in Cumberland County, Hope Mills, on Jan. 30, 1927, age 86. Parents names are Isham Carver and Mary Ray.
