Thank you for the invite I am also a member on the ancestry dna. but I had someone test their dna on family tree dna. I feel they have more experience but I guess it probably don't matter which one. I am trying to break down a brick wall, I go back to Seth Carver born 1769 in New Jersey and I am almost certain that his father is also Seth Carver born about 1735 in Massachusetts he went to New Jersey sometime after 1758 and married a Mary Smith in 1766 I have no paperwork to prove they are Father and son. I can however prove my lineage back to Seth born 1769. It looks like DNA may be my best option at this point. What year do you go back to with your ancestor, I may be able to help. Please email me direct at myfamilytrees@ymail.com
