Hi,
Yes, we are both descendants of Christopher Carver. We received the report on Familytreedna.com and did NOT match any of the others on the group. Although, it is possible to have some connection they said we didn't meet the criteria for a match. Further testing could prove more. So it looks at this point as if we are not related to the Carvers of Hertfordshire England. There was one exact match for us though...to a Ronny Green whose pedigree shows his family is from Haywood Co., NC. I emailed him but have not heard back from him. But it does prove we have a commom ancester. So I at least know this is probably the right Carver family.
Hope you have someone who will test. I would love for another Carver from Christophers line to test.
