Belford, I am researching the Carvers of N.C. Henry (Franklin?) CARVER b.1810 NC married Margaret CRISCOE b.1825, dau. of Jacob CRISCOE. I do not have a marriage date for them, but would love to find out when they were married. One researcher suggested that Henry could be the son of John CARVER who married Elizabeth KENDALL in Va. (Her family migrated to Montgomery Co. NC in the 1700's) Henry was the father of Wincy KENDALL Carver b.1847 who married Needham WHITLEY, and I would like to know if Margaret was Wincy's mother or step mother.

A few houses from Henry (1850 census), there was a John B. CARVER who married Lydia CRISCOE. I would like to know if John was related to Henry and if Lydia was related to Margaret. Is there any mention of these Carvers in Keith Carver's book?
