Trying to find info on Mary Polly Carver 1829-1889 wife of John Alfred Crisp and saw your post. Check the 1870 census for Dice Carver. The age seems right and they are still in Stecoah, NC which was where she was in 1860. She may be buried in the Stecoah, NC area.
