Our Johannes Kerber born in 1755 in Germany, conscripted into the Hessian Army to fight in the Revolutionary War. He deserted and settled in Columbia County, NY married Anna Stahl in 1777. They had a son John Carver, born in 1780; and he had a sone Daniel born 1810--this is probably your best bet. Their other sonm, Henry/Heinrich Carver is our line. He was baptised in 1785 in Ghent, Columbia Co., NY married Salley Deyo. Their had a son John b. 1807 who married Maris Sturges. Henry, Sally and their family moved from Columbia to Broome County in the early 1800s.

Hope this gives you some leads.
Carol Lee and David George Logan
