In the 1880 census, my gg grandparents, William and Martha Hunter show that a "mother-in-law" by the name of Elizabeth Carver lived in their household. William and Martha had children, one which was named Cornelius. While I understand this was a common name, after coming to this board and seeing Cornelius Carver, I find it possible that Cornelius Hunter may be a grandson to Elizabeth husband who might have been named Cornelius. Does anyone show anything that might solve this puzzle? I would appreciate any help.
