No, I don't. One story was that he was from Duck River, TN, and left at age 17 (1837) to move south. He may have had a wife and family in Pitkins Co., AL prior to marrying Sarah Ann Russell, probably in MS. First wife may have been Mary T. Carver, d/o Wesley Carver.
May be connected with Carvers from Person Co. NC. He and Sarah are buried in Vernon Parish, LA. They lived a time in Livingston Pr. LA prior to moving to Vernon.
