If I recall correctly, he and his wife (and perhaps a child) died first year in US. A brother or perhaps a nephew, Richard, came over later. Surf the Carvers in Mass. and Mayflower on internet and see if you can come up with something. I have an article somewhere in my files.
I have been unable to connect my gggrandfather, Robert William, to Carvers further back. Somewhere I read that Carvers came from two areas of England, north and south of London.
