Hi Jean, These are the children that I have for William Carver. He evidently was married at least twice with Mary Shumake being the second wife. I have William Martin Carver being a son of William and Agnes Shumake. Is that wrong? The other children that I have are Laura, b. 1842, Marion B. 1844, Jesse Andrew b. 1848, Lydia b 1852. Evidently, William was m. before, because I have two other sons listed for him; James G. Carver b. 1834, AL. and George W. b. 1837, AL. They are listed in the 1850 Census, Choctaw Co. MS in the household with Wllliam Carver, HH#131, Page 10, along with William M., 11, B. MS, Laura, 8, B. MS, Marion 6, b.AL and Jessie A. 2, B. MS, Charlotte
