On my mother's side of the family, I am trying to find information about an Aden Carver, born about 1783 to 1784, according to the 1850 Cherokee County NC census.
I don't know how Aden fits into my family, but my 3rd great grandparents, William R. & Sophia Dowd (Douge?) Martin knew him well enough to live with him...
Just received an e-mail which stated that Aden Carver was named in the Will of Thomas Carver, recorded in 1839 in Cades Cove, Blount Co., TN.
Does anyone know the name of Aden's wife, the names of any of their children. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
