ISAAC CARVER's birthdate should be 1791 not 1781. [Ref, tombstone]...

IF (a big "if") THOMAS CARVER (1755-1821) married CLARY LORD, daughter of WILLIAM LORD, then THOMAS was son of WILLIAM CARVER and his wife, SARAH. The wife, NANCY, (if a wife) was a later one.

ELIZABETH CARVER, daughter of THOMAS and CLARA (CLARY), married JOHN ANGLIN in Wilson Co., TN, moved to Dickson Co. They are among the heirs of THOMAS as shown in Wilson County probate records.

I am trying to prove that the line is as follows:
THOMAS (1755-1821) son of WILLIAM and SARAH

WILLIAM (b. July 5, 1737, Stafford Co., VA)
who married SARAH (surname not shown) was son of:

THOMAS CARVER who married MARY CLIFT, Novem- ber 10, 1727, Stafford Co., VA.

CLARY LORD (b. January 12, 1762, Stafford Co., VA) was daughter of WILLIAM LORD and ANNE JONES.

WILLIAM LORD (b. January 12, 1738/9) son of

WILLIAM LORD and ELIZABETH LEWIS, October 23,
1738.
