Howard, Thanks for the reply. I can not prove it yet but I believe that the Mahaska County, Iowa Carver's are related to Archibald Carver of Albemarle County, Virginia. I have information on every individual that you mentioned. I have done quite of bit of research on the Carver family. I also have copies of several different Carver Family histories. I have researched the Carver name in the following states:
Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa. These states I have researched up until 1910. I have information on the following states until about 1850 but it is scattered as I have not completed reading all the census records. These states are: Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Maine, and Vermont. I also have some other information on Carvers from other states not mentioned. I have also abstracted the following military records for Carver: Revolutionary War Soldiers Military Records, Revolutionary War Pension Files, War of 1812 Military Record Files, War of 1812 Pension Files, Civil War Pension Files Union Soldiers, Mexican War Pension Files. I have also abstracted the 1880, 1900 and 1910 Soundex/Miracode indexes for several of the above mentioned states for Carver's. I have been researching the Carver family for over 25 years. I have exchanged information with several different researchers over the years. I used to correspond with several researchers up until the early 90's when my research time became very limited due to my sons activities. I have just started trying to get back to my research. If you would contact me at home it would be easier to look up information for you. I only have the internet here at work and my time on it is very limited. I have not posted or answered many queries because I don't have a lot of time.
My home address is: Matthew W. Carver 2011 SE 140th Road
Easton, MO 64443. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely, Matthew W. Carver
